Biography

Morgen J. Weeks is an associate at Fabian VanCott with a practice focusing on business and real estate transactions, tax and estate planning, and employment law. Morgen earned his law degree from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he was exposed to a variety of legal experiences representing start-ups in the law school's entrepreneurship clinic, spending time taking business courses at the Marriott School of Management in conjunction with law courses to learn the business considerations underlying the law, and interning with the Securities and Exchange Commission and in-house with Adobe's corporate and securities legal group.

Outside of law, Morgen has worked for Vivint, Inc. selling home automation systems across the country and has represented buyers and sellers in Utah real estate transactions. Morgen values his sales experience as a foundation for his ability to present creative solutions to help solve his clients' problems as an attorney.

Morgen received his bachelor's degree from Weber State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and his associate's degree from Utah State University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and was awarded the Regents' Scholarship after completing his degree before graduating from high school.
