Tom Kelley is an associate attorney at Fabian VanCott with a practice emphasis on litigation, employment, and environmental and natural resources. He has a broad range of legal experience, dealing with all aspects of litigation including pre-trial motion practice and conducting jury trials. Tom is ready to meet any challenge and has dealt with complex and technical matters throughout his career.
Prior to joining Fabian VanCott, Tom served as a military engineer officer in the United States Army and worked as a healthcare administrator at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Salt Lake City. During Tom’s two deployment to Iraq, he served as a civil reconstruction officer and developed civil works projects for the local Iraqi Government. Tom has a proven ability to achieve success in high stress environments.
Tom earned his law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah where he graduated with highest honors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 2005 and was a member of the Dean’s List during his entire undergrad.
For fun, Tom loves the outdoors and can be found hiking, running, and backpacking throughout Utah’s wilderness. Tom was a member of West Point’s Marathon Team and has completed numerous marathons and several 50-mile ultramarathons.
