Biography

Victor A. Pollak has over 30 years experience in corporate and securities law. His expertise includes negotiating and documenting mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, private placements, public offerings, entity formation, corporate finance and intellectual property transactions. For example, in a recent series of private equity investments in a manufacturing client and a venture capital investment in a pharmaceutical start-up client, Victor handled structuring and negotiation of the transactions and also corporate governance, intellectual property, tax and employment issues. Victor often teams with other Fabian VanCott attorneys who have expertise in tax, employment, real estate and litigation. Victor is able to counsel clients with a perspective of having been co-founder/CEO of an investor-backed startup biomedical company, and a business development executive for an Internet security infrastructure provider. In the community, he has served as a member and officer of bar association committees and as a pro bono legal advisor for clients of the Miller Small Business Development Center. Victor graduated cum laude from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, where he was law journal lead articles editor. He has been recognized in Utah Legal Elite in corporate law and is listed in Best Lawyers in America for 2016 for Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships).
