Kirsten focuses her practice on representing businesses in employment related matters, both as a litigator and an advisor. Kirsten regularly provides advice to companies on matters involving contractual disputes, employment practices, policies, and procedures, including wage and hour issues, discipline and termination, layoffs, non-competes, compensation plans, trade secret protection and internal investigations.

Moreover, Kirsten has experience defending clients in employment litigation alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Kirsten devotes her efforts to solving client’s complex issues in an effective and efficient manner.

Kirsten currently serves on the Board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Utah State Bar for the 2019-2020 term, works as a pro bono coordinator for the Utah State Bar, and enjoys recreating in Utah’s great outdoors.
