Rachel S. Anderson’s practice focuses on Utah local and special service district law, as well as matters of real property and water law generally. Regarding her local government practice, Rachel routinely works directly with dozens of boards and management teams of local and special service districts throughout the State of Utah. She serves her district clients on a broad range of topics including:

Additionally, Rachel enjoys working on transactional real property and water matters for public and private clients alike, including title issues, deeds and easements, purchase and sale agreements, and leases. Specific to water law, Rachel has experience with reports of water right conveyance, change applications, general adjudications, and federal reserved water rights.

Rachel earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Westminster College, and her J.D. degree, with high honors, from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she served as an Executive Editor of the Utah Law Review. Rachel is currently the Chair of the firm’s Women Lawyers Group.
