Scott M. Lilja is a shareholder and a member of Fabian VanCott’s Complex Litigation Practice Group. Scott’s practice focuses in the areas of complex commercial litigation and appellate practice including litigation, negotiation and appeals in the areas of unfair competition and antitrust, land use, real estate, business and contracts, intellectual property, securities, and environmental law. His practice also includes eminent domain litigation. Scott has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in America, the Mountain States Super Lawyers, and in the Utah Legal Elite published by Utah Business magazine.

Scott has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex commercial litigation including business related cases in the areas of contract, real property, tax, securities, unfair competition and antitrust. He has handled litigation in state and federal courts of Utah, Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada and elsewhere and has argued appeals to the Utah Supreme Court, the Utah Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
