At Fabian VanCott, our core values are our lodestar.
Our first and most fundamental value is to serve our clients with the highest standards of legal excellence.
We safeguard our clients, uphold our ethical obligations, and honor all professional standards of conduct.
We believe attorneys flourish with autonomy in managing their practices, accountability, and full transparency.
We solve today’s problems, but seek to protect the interests of our clients and our firm decades into the future.
We strive to constantly learn, and adapt with speed and flexibility to changes in technology, society, and the law.
Our colleagues are our friends, and we collaborate with respect and goodwill. Our obligation is to our communities.
Fabian VanCott encourages its attorneys to actively engage with community service, and you can view the numerous organizations we support below.
We also organize firm projects, such as when our attorneys worked on a restoration project in Grand Teton National Park, which was a dirty and sweaty project thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We also encourage our attorneys to spend time working on pro bono matters, to give back to the legal community, and use their skills to help those in need.
Fabian VanCott best serves our clients when we foster a diverse and equitable workplace.
We value – and our clients benefit from having – diverse perspectives of attorneys with different backgrounds and life experiences.
We believe that by fostering an equitable culture, we attract the best and brightest talent, leading to better solutions for our valued clients. It’s both essential for business success and simply the right thing to do.
We’re proud to have earned a certification from the Utah Center for Legal Inclusion, for which the firm is designated as a founding sponsor.
Fabian VanCott is also proud of its active Women Lawyers Group, as our firm is committed to hiring, retaining, and supporting women attorneys.
With the full support of the firm, the Women Lawyers Group strives to create networking opportunities, promote leadership roles for women, and provide a forum for discussion of ways we can continuously improve to provide the best workplace for flourishing careers.
Fabian VanCott’s women attorneys are represented in nearly all of the firm’s practice areas, from senior shareholders with over 30 years of experience, to young associates who are building and expanding their practice.
