Biography
Sarah Vaughn is a Fabian VanCott shareholder with a practice devoted to litigation. Sarah has represented clients in an array of matters from small familial disputes to large complex commercial litigation. Sarah also represents clients in administrative hearings, defending health care providers and employers before DOPL and the Labor Commission. Sarah zealously advocates for her clients to advance their best interests while ensuring a timely and cost-effective resolution of their matters. She has represented clients at trial, arbitrations, mediations, and before appellate courts.
In 2018, Sarah was named Young Lawyer of the Year by the Young Lawyer Division. In 2020, Sarah was recognized by “The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch” for commercial litigation. In 2021, Sarah was awarded the Horizon Award from the Utah Defense Lawyers Association recognizing excellent and distinguished service in the defense of her clients.
Sarah earned her law degree from The S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah where she graduated with honors. She received her bachelor's degree from The George Washington University.
