Biography
Tommy Stockard’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation. He understands the high level of complexity that business disputes often involve, and he is experienced in working with teams of Fabian VanCott attorneys to resolve these problems.
Tommy has experience working on matters dealing with a wide range of complex issues such as protection of trade secrets and intellectual property, assisting clients in responding to supply-chain disruption including issues involving force majeure contractual clauses and commercial impracticability, small business and municipality eligibility and qualification for CARES Act relief coverage, Medicaid fraud, and commercial property disputes.
Tommy also has experience assisting Tribal clients in various Indian law matters. More specifically, he has experience handling Tribal matters involving assertions of Tribal Sovereign Immunity and Deliberative Process Immunity, ISDEAA-related issues, contractual disputes, and jurisdictional issues.
Outside of practicing law Tommy is an avid sports fan who has written extensively on the various issues relating to the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement. He enjoys reading, and time outdoors with his wife and dog.
