Tyler Hubbard assists clients with estate and gift planning matters and related matters such as probate, trust administration, and tax research.

To illustrate, Tyler has experience with everything from basic estate planning—which includes Wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives—to complex gift and estate tax planning, including the preparation of gift tax returns and estate tax returns. Services that he has provided clients include the preparation of prenuptial agreements, supplementary needs trusts, asset protection trusts, and irrevocable gift trusts. He often helps clients with real estate issues that arise in conjunction with their planning, including transfer of title to trusts and closely held entities. Tyler has also represented clients in forming and maintaining closely held businesses, such as family limited liability companies. He has assisted in income tax planning such as 1031 exchanges. He also has experience guiding clients, including individual and corporate trustees, through probate and assisting them with resolving disputes related to trusts and estates, including through mediation.

Tyler graduated from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and is admitted to practice in Utah.

Professional History

Tyler is one of Fabian VanCott’s rising estate planning attorneys. He graduated first in his class from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, clerked for the Honorable Constandinos Himonas on the Utah Supreme Court, and completed a short internship for the Honorable Carolyn McHugh on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He has practiced at Fabian VanCott since June 2021 and has since had wide-ranging experiences in matters related to estate planning, income tax planning, probate, and trust administration.
