Tyler Hubbard is an estate planner, concerned about the well-being of his clients. His thoughtfulness and critical thinking skills elevate Fabian VanCott’s estate planning team.
Before joining Fabian VanCott, Tyler served as a law clerk for the Honorable Constandinos Himonas on the Utah Supreme Court. There, he learned to navigate the ins and outs of the appellate process, how to conduct a thorough legal analysis, and how to write with clarity and precision. He also served as a staff member on the Utah Task Force on Regulatory Reform, focusing on increasing access to justice for the citizens of Utah.
Tyler graduated first in his class from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. He received Highest Honors and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Tyler completed several internships during law school, each allowing him to learn the practice of law from great legal minds; he interned for the Honorable Carolyn McHugh on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, for Justice Thomas R. Lee on the Utah Supreme Court, for the Honorable Kevin R. Anderson at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and for the law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP. In addition to completing these internships, Tyler honed his research, editing, and writing skills by serving as the Executive Text Editor of the Utah Law Review and as a Quinney Research Fellow at the law school.
Tyler lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and son. Besides practicing law, Tyler enjoys playing basketball and watching the NBA. He is also a voracious reader and looks for books that help him understand the world from others' point of view.
