Angilee is a member of Fabian VanCott’s Appellate Practice Group and Family Law Practice Group. She is also a Registered Patent Attorney and practices Indian Law in various Tribal Courts. In addition, Angilee brings nearly two decades of experience as a certified mediator, with a strong focus on resolving complex disputes efficiently and effectively.

Angilee’s appellate experience includes matters before the Utah Courts of Appeal, multiple U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the U.S.  Supreme Court. She has played a key role in establishing precedent defining federal standards of reasonableness for unwed biological fathers seeking intervention in adoption proceedings, as well as clarifying the distinction between voluntary and involuntary adoptions under the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA).

Her intellectual property practice encompasses patent litigation, as well as trademark and copyright prosecution and litigation. Angilee has litigated hundreds of business and intellectual property matters with overlap in contract and tort claims.

Angilee regularly advises clients in a wide range of family law matters, including adoptions, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, custody, guardianships, name and gender changes, delayed birth records, support enforcement, and domestic violence issues. She also handles abuse and neglect matters involving the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and serves as a Guardian ad Litem for children. Her practice further includes estate planning and probate matters.
