Anna’s practice is focused on handling complex civil litigation, civil rights, insurance defense, and personal injury. She joined Fabian VanCott as an associate in 2024. She began her career working in contracts and planned giving before transitioning to litigation. Anna has represented clients in state and federal courts in Utah and at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Anna graduated with High Honors from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2020. She served as the Executive Online Editor of the Utah Law Review and received three Outstanding Honor Awards. She completed a Master of Arts in American Studies with an Emphasis in Public Folkore at Utah State University. As part of her studies, she interned with the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. She completed a Bachelor of the Arts at Weber State University with a double major in English and German. The highlight of her undergraduate studies was a summer semester at the Universität Bayreuth.

Prior to pursuing a legal career, Anna worked for six years in education and libraries, including at a software company specializing in library technology. Anna has prioritized community service throughout her career. She served for two years in the Americorps literacy initiative. As a law student, she was active in her law school’s various pro bono clinics, including the tax clinic. She received an award for her contributions to the school’s pro bono programs.
