Grace Goddard is a Licensed Paralegal Practitioner (LPP) at Fabian VanCott. After passing the Utah State Bar LPP exam in ethics and family law, she was sworn in and is licensed to represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, parenting plans, prenuptial agreements, and support modifications. She also represents individuals who have gone through the mediation process or court proceedings and need their final documents drafted and filed with the court. Grace’s practice is rooted in accessibility, and she is committed to guiding individuals through family law proceedings with a collaborative approach.

Grace earned her Master of Legal Studies from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, where she also completed formal mediation training—further shaping her skills in conflict resolution and collaborative problem-solving. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Fairfield University, where she was also a four-year NCAA Division I swimmer.

As a Utah native, Grace was particularly interested in how LPP services can have a positive impact on the community and she is among a pioneering group of professionals that are working to expand Utahns access to justice through the LPP program. The role of a licensed paralegal practitioner is particularly valuable to individuals and families that need more affordable legal support as they navigate family law matters in the Utah court system. Grace brings additional insight from her background in civil litigation and her experience of working as a paralegal in mid-size full service law firms since 2019. Outside of work, Grace enjoys training for marathons, road biking, doing the NYT crossword and spending time with friends and family.
