Mr. Kjar (pronounced like “Care”) practices law at the Salt Lake City, Utah office of Fabian VanCott. Mr. Kjar earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a Minor in Physics, from the University of Utah in 2003. For several years, he devoted himself to teaching high school math, physics, and personal finance while concurrently earning his Master of Arts in Education from Western Governors University in 2006.

In 2009, Mr. Kjar embarked on his legal journey, obtaining his J.D. in 2012 from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he graduated second in his class, Order of the Coif, with Highest Honors. During his time in law school, he served as the Executive Managing Editor for the Utah Law Review and garnered numerous accolades for his exceptional research and legal writing skills.

Mr. Kjar refined his legal acumen by serving as a judicial law clerk for Judge Tena Campbell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and Judge Scott M. Matheson, Jr. of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Fluent in Spanish and licensed to practice in Utah, Mr. Kjar is well-prepared to navigate the complexities of legal matters and offer comprehensive support to his clients.
