David P. Billings has extensive experience representing clients in complex civil litigation and appeals, including precedent-setting bankruptcy proceedings representing the unsecured creditors committee of the Yellowstone Mountain Club in Montana.

Beyond bankruptcy, David’s practice includes a wide variety of real estate and finance litigation involving foreclosure, Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors, the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, public and private loan modification programs, municipalities, and HOAs.

He has also handled numerous complex commercial litigation matters involving lending, loan workouts, wrongful liens, mining, trucking, medical devices, medical malpractice, product liability, easement disputes, condemnation, and election law.

David is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court and Tenth Circuit bars and has had successful appeals in matters before the Utah Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court, the 10th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
